Klaer plans doctor-prescribed clear-aligner cases for licensed dental and orthodontic providers, on CBCT + IOS. This policy explains what data we handle, why, and the choices available to providers and the patients they treat.
1. Who we are
Klaer is a clear-aligner planning, manufacturing and aftercare service operated by aiHealth Group in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, on the kyour.ai clinical platform. References to "Klaer", "we" or "us" mean the operating entity behind klaer.ae. We are licensed to operate within the applicable UAE health-authority framework (MOH / DHA).
2. Scope & roles
This policy covers (a) information collected through this website and provider relationships, and (b) clinical case data that a treating clinic submits to Klaer. For patient clinical records, the treating clinic is the data controller and Klaer acts as a processor — we handle that data only on the clinic's documented instructions and the patient's consent obtained by the clinic.
3. Information we collect
Provider & website information
- Details you submit when you enquire or apply to become a provider — name, clinic, role, professional licence number, emirate, email and phone.
- Correspondence you send to addresses such as hello@klaer.ae or providers@klaer.ae.
- Basic technical and usage data needed to operate and secure the site.
Clinical case data (on behalf of the clinic)
- Intra-oral scans (IOS), cone-beam CT (CBCT), treatment records and the patient identifiers a clinic provides so a case can be planned, simulated, manufactured and monitored.
4. How we use information
- To assess and onboard providers and respond to enquiries.
- To plan, verify, simulate, manufacture and ship aligner cases, and to support weekly at-home monitoring back to the provider's portal.
- To quote, collect and reconcile the single all-in case price, and to pay the provider's fixed clinical fee.
- To operate, secure, support and improve the service, and to meet legal and health-authority obligations.
5. Legal basis & consent
We process provider information to take steps at your request and for our legitimate interest in operating the service. Patient clinical data is processed on the clinic's instructions and on the basis of consent the clinic obtains from the patient before a case is submitted.
6. Sharing & sub-processors
We share information only as needed to deliver the service — within the kyour.ai platform and aiHealth Group, with vetted manufacturing, hosting and logistics partners acting under contract, and where required by law or a competent health authority. We do not sell personal or clinical data.
7. Where data is held & how it is protected
Data is hosted on infrastructure selected for the UAE region and protected with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and audit logging. Access to clinical data is limited to the people and systems that need it to deliver a case.
8. Retention
We keep provider and case information for as long as needed to deliver the service and to meet medical-records, tax and regulatory retention requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised. A clinic may request return or deletion of its patients' data subject to those legal retention periods.
9. Rights
Providers may access, correct or ask us to delete the information they have given us, and may object to or restrict certain processing. Patients exercise their rights through their treating clinic; we support clinics in fulfilling those requests. To make a request, contact privacy@klaer.ae.
10. Licensing
Klaer operates as a licensed health service; MOH / DHA licensing is held on file and available to regulators on request.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
